Get Set Learn

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 6 June 2026

These terms govern participation in the National Edge AI Hackathon 2026-27 (presented by Arduino, Qualcomm and Get Set Learn) and use of this website. By registering a student or placing an order, you accept them.

This policy is drafted to a compliant shape and is under review by GSL legal counsel. It will be finalised before public launch; the children's-data clauses in particular are pending sign-off.

Eligibility & parental consent

The challenge is open to students in Grades VI to X (ages 11 to 16). A student cannot register themselves: a parent or legal guardian must register on their behalf and consent to participation and to the processing of the student's data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Registration & the ₹199 fee

Registration costs ₹199 per student. It covers a seat in the challenge and access to the screening quiz. Qualifying students (top 100 teams per level) additionally receive an Arduino kit and masterclasses at no extra cost. The fee does not guarantee qualification.

Conduct rules

  • Participate honestly and respectfully.
  • Submit your team's own original work.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, exploit or game the platform.
  • Coordinators and parents are responsible for supervising students.

Quiz integrity & monitoring

The screening quiz uses automated integrity monitoring (for example, detecting tab-switching, leaving full-screen, and unusual response patterns). Three integrity strikes end an attempt. Trust scores are reviewed by GSL and the school. We disclose this monitoring so parents and students know it is in place; it observes quiz-taking behaviour only, not the device or other activity.

Intellectual property

Students own their projects. By participating, you grant Get Set Learn, Qualcomm and Arduino a non-exclusive licence to showcase a project (name, description, images, demo) for promotional and educational purposes connected to the challenge, only with the participant's consent. The Arduino, Qualcomm and GSL names and logos remain the property of their owners.

Patent-filing support

For selected winning teams, GSL may offer support towards filing a patent for their work. Any such support is offered case by case, subject to a separate written agreement, and does not transfer ownership of the students' invention to GSL.

Limitation of liability

The platform and challenge are provided on a reasonable-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, GSL's aggregate liability arising from participation is limited to the registration fee paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for third-party services (such as the payment processor or courier) beyond our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
