Alvik arrives built: wheels, sensors and a removable Nano ESP32 brain, ready to roll the moment you charge it over USB-C. Start with drag-and-drop blocks at 7, move to MicroPython or full Arduino code around 12, and the same robot keeps up. Line-following, colour reading, distance and motion sensing are all onboard, and LEGO Technic mounts plus Qwiic and Grove ports let your builds grow as ambitious as you are.

My grade 6 class had Alvik following lines and reacting to colour within the first session. Python and the block editor both work, so every student found their level.

No wiring, no soldering, just charge and code. The sensors are genuinely useful for real projects, not toys.

Fantastic for teaching robotics. Heavy classroom use drains it by the end of a double period, so keep the charger handy.
